Nadine Gooderick — Managing Director

Nadine was appointed Managing Director of ClearView on 1 July 2023. She is a proven life insurance leader with extensive experience managing international programs and leading large diverse teams across different functions and markets.
Nadine joined ClearView in October 2020 as General Manager, Transformation. In August 2022, she was appointed as Group Executive – Technology and Development, with responsibility for ClearView’s technology, data and marketing functions.
Since joining ClearView, Nadine’s key achievements include establishing and executing the Group’s transformation program. Nadine was instrumental in overseeing the launch of the Group’s new enterprise policy administration system and underwriting rules engine.
Prior to joining ClearView, Nadine spent almost 25 years at RGA Reinsurance, including the last eight years as Chief Operating Officer for Australia and New Zealand from 2011 to 2019. In that role, she had responsibility for the key functions of underwriting, medical and technical services, claims and operations as well as project management. Prior to that, Nadine was Vice President, Asia Pacific Regional Office.
At RGA, Nadine’s career highlights include the start-up of several of RGA’s International Offices as part of the group’s global expansion into Asia and Europe as well as the delivery of a substantial, multi-year transformation program for the management of disability income and TPD insurance claims; and the delivery of an end-to-end group administration system over two years.
Athol Chiert — Chief Financial Officer

Athol was appointed Chief Financial Officer of ClearView in November 2008 and was an integral part of the team that founded ClearView in its current form.
Prior to his appointment, Athol was previously the Chief Financial Officer of PrefSure Holdings Limited and PrefSure Life Limited (formerly Lumley Life Limited) in Australia and has also served as part of the Global Capital Group in both Australia and South Africa, including holding senior and Director positions across a range of private equity investments.
Athol has over 24 years’ experience in financial services, and also serves on various community organisation Boards. A Chartered Accountant, Athol began his professional career with Arthur Andersen.
Christopher Blaxland-Walker — Group Executive, Distribution

Christopher has over 15 years' experience in financial services. He started his career at Legal and General in the call centre and worked in all areas of the company. In the last 10 years he has been involved in sales at CommInsure where he held the position of NSW State Manager before joining ClearView as the National Sales Manager in 2011.
Christopher was appointed Group Executive, Distribution in August 2022 following his position of General Manager, Distribution since 2014.
Michael New — Chief Technology Officer

Michael joined ClearView in June 2023 as Strategic Transformation Program Director, leading critical technology projects including the delivery of a single Policy Administration System. Michael was appointed as Chief Technology Officer in October 2024.
Michael has over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services industry in Australia and Asia, specialising in successful delivery of large and complex programs of work. He holds significant Life Insurance depth and understands the importance of technology partnership and delivery to achieve business and customer outcomes. Prior to ClearView, Michael was the Program Director for BT Life and Super, and has held technology transformation leadership positions at Westpac, AMP, Commonwealth Bank, and Suncorp.
Joanne Faglioni — Group Executive, Operations

Joanne joined ClearView as Chief Claims Officer in December 2021. After delivering improved end-to-end claims management outcomes, she was appointed Group Executive, Operations in July 2023. She now oversees and drives improvements across administration and operational functions including underwriting, claims and rehabilitation.
Prior to ClearView, Joanne was Chief Claims Officer at Zurich Australia and has held leadership positions in Claims and Operations at MLC, National Australia Bank and ING Australia.
In November 2020, Joanne joined the Board of the Australasian Life Underwriting Claims Association (ALUCA). She was appointed Chair in November 2021.
Judilyn Beaumont — General Counsel and Chief Risk Officer

Judilyn joined ClearView in November 2019 as General Counsel and Company Secretary. As Group Executive – General Counsel, Corporate, and Chief Risk Officer, Judilyn leads the ClearView Legal and Risk and Compliance functions and is responsible for Corporate Affairs and regulatory engagement. Judilyn is also Company Secretary for the ClearView Group entities.
Judilyn has 25 years of extensive legal experience, predominantly in financial services industries across private practice, regulatory and in-house roles. From 2013-2019 Judilyn worked in-house at Suncorp and Asteron, in Senior Lawyer, Associate General Counsel and Executive Manager Legal roles, leading the legal teams advising the life and general insurance, reinsurance, super and investments and financial advice businesses.
Earlier in her career, she was a Senior Associate at Herbert Smith Freehills in their financial services team and a Solicitor at Blake Dawson Waldron (now Ashurst) and has worked in multiple in-house client secondment roles for superannuation funds, life and general insurers, investment platforms, financial advice businesses, banks and asset managers. Prior to that Judilyn was a Lawyer at the Australian Securities and Investment Commission (ASIC) in the Financial Services and Enforcement Directorates.
Nick Kulikov — Group Executive, Product and Pricing

Nick joined ClearView in February 2021 as Head of Life Insurance, Product and Pricing and lead the launch of our flagship product series, ClearView ClearChoice in September 2021. He was appointed Group Executive, Product and Pricing in July 2023 extending his responsibilities to data and strategy.
Nick has over 30 years of life insurance experience and has worked in consulting, valuations, pricing, and risk. Prior to joining ClearView, Nick was the Chief Risk Officer and Head of Research at RGA Australia. He was responsible for portfolio analysis and risk management of the Australian business as well as being the global risk owner of morbidity risk.
Earlier, Nick oversaw capital for ING Australia and then worked as the Appointed Actuary at OnePath within ANZ Wealth.
Tanya Dawson — Chief People Officer

Tanya has over 25 years’ human resources experience, predominately in financial services and insurance. Prior to joining ClearView, Tanya held a number of senior executive positions including Global Chief Human Resources and People Officer at Cover-More Group, and Chief Human Resources Officer at Cuscal Limited. At ClearView, Tanya is responsible for developing and executing the People and Culture strategy to support the group’s transformational change agenda. This includes continuously enhancing ClearView’s employee value proposition, recruiting and retaining talent, and building a customer-centric, performance-orientated culture. As part of the Executive Leadership Team, Tanya is a key adviser to the Managing Director.
Ashutosh (Ash) Bhalerao — Appointed Actuary
BEc, FIAA
Ash joined ClearView in January 2014 as Appointed Actuary and was formally appointed to the Executive Leadership Team in September 2024.
Ash has over 30 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry in both Life Insurance and Wealth management. As ClearView’s Appointed Actuary, Ash has built the Corporate Actuarial team, demonstrated strong leadership through the recent IFRS17 transition, and works closely with the Claims, Product and Pricing teams to optimise business outcomes. Prior to ClearView, Ash was the Appointed Actuary for Swiss Re L&H Australia for 5 years and has held senior actuarial and risk leadership positions at TAL, Challenger and AMP.
